What's a book like these days without a movie to go along with it. We quickly read each book before the movie comes out. It's one way that influences the world to keep reading. We anticipate it and envision it on the big screen. Here are a few books we expect to see in theaters soon.

The book follows the lives of a new couple, Serena and George Pemberton, and their lumber business. The movie includes the dynamic duo that is Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. Expect to see this movie sometime this year.

The Giver

The Giver was written in 1993 by Lois Lowry. This children's novel shadows the story of the Giver and his apprentice as well as other occupation in their dramatically ironic Utopian society. Release date is August 16th 2014.

The Maze Runner

This young adult epic stone-walls it's readers till the end. 50-60 teenage boys are held within the Glade (or the eye of the maze). The Glade is entrapped by creatures more fearsome than the Minotaur and an ever-changing labyrinth. The boys arrive stripped of their identities and memories of the outside world. Expect it on the silver screen this September.

Gone Girl

Gillian Flynn begins Gone Girl through the guilt-free perspective of unreliable Nick Dunne. Nick's wife, Amy, disappears on their 5th year anniversary. The only remnants of her is shattered glass, over turned furniture, and a treasure hunt. Although Flynn opens with innocence, nothing last forever. She unfolds the lies of omission buried underneath obligations, judgement, and hidden agendas. Flynn's prose is talon sharp and of devious design. With Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne and Rosamund Pike as Amy Dunne, Gone Girl is expected to release this October.
